The Colombian Association of Engineering Colleges (Asociación Colombiana de Facultades de Ingeniería -ACOFI), and the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies -IFEES-both organizations are committed to promote the ongoing work of professors, students and engineering colleges and programs at a global level while focused in training quality, research and its relationship with the environment. The WEEF 2013 Cartagena major topic will be focused on the issue of innovation, competitiveness and entrepreneurship in engineering.
A special emphasis will be placed to educational improvement of engineers and developing teaching methods that will better train engineers towards generating significant changes for the betterment of global communities.
